Fluconazole
Fluconazole is an antifungal medicine that is used to treat infections caused by fungus, which can invade any part of the body including the mouth, throat, esophagus, lungs, bladder, genital area, and the blood. Fluconazole is also used to prevent fungal infection in people who have a weak immune system caused by cancer treatment, bone marrow transplant, or diseases such as AIDS.
Itraconazole
Itraconazole is an antifungal medication that is used in adults to treat infections caused by fungus. This includes infections in any part of the body including the lungs, mouth or throat, toenails, or fingernails.
Ketoconazole
Ketoconazole is an antifungal medication that is used to treat certain infections caused by fungus. It should be used only when you cannot use other antifungal medications. It can cause serious harm to your liver that may result in liver transplant or cause death.
Amphotericin
Amphotericin B is an antifungal medication that fights infections caused by fungus. It is used to treat serious, life-threatening fungal infections. It is not for use in treating a minor fungal infection such as a yeast infection of the mouth, esophagus, or vagina.
Clotrimazole
Clotrimazole topical is an antifungal medication that fights infections caused by fungus. Clotrimazole topical (for the skin) is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and yeast infections.
