Pantoprazole

Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is used to treat erosive esophagitis in adults and children who are at least 5 years old. Pantoprazole is usually given for up to 8 weeks at a time while the esophagus heals.

Ranitidine

Ranitidine was withdrawn from the market in the United States in April 2020. It belongs to a group of drugs called histamine-2 blockers. It works by reducing the amount of acid your stomach produces. It has been used to treat and prevent ulcers in the stomach and intestines. It also was used to treat conditions in which the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Omeprazole

Omeprazole is used to treat excess stomach acid in conditions such as non cancerous stomach ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), active duodenal ulcer, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and erosive esophagitis. Omeprazole works by blocking gastric acid production and is from the group of medicines called proton pump inhibitors.

Rabeprazole

Rabeprazole is a medication that belongs to the class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). It is primarily used to treat conditions that involve excessive stomach acid production, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
